Chapel Grove Elementary School is a pillar of the community, proudly serving the area for more than 100 years and welcoming multiple generations of families through its doors.

Students Honor Veterans with Interviews and Schoolwide Parade
A group of young people, both adults and children, are gathered together in a classroom or community space, with colorful decorations and artwork visible in the background.

As part of a Veterans Day project, Chapel Grove Elementary fifth graders talked to veterans and later shared what they learned with the veterans they interviewed. The celebration continued with a schoolwide parade featuring waving American flags, smiling faces, and thank-you cards from students.

Providing care for students at school

Thanks to our partnership with Kintegra Health, we offer a telehealth clinic here at our school. Students, who are experiencing a minor illness or condition, can be seen by a medical provider virtually.

Board of Education Meeting Canceled

The Gaston County Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, July 20 has been canceled. The Board’s next regular meeting will be held on August 17 with committee meetings scheduled for August 3.

Chapel Grove Elementary Open House

Families are invited to join us for Open House at Chapel Grove Elementary on Monday, August 10 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Come meet your child’s teacher, visit the classroom, and get important information for the new school year.

Clubs and Activities

Chapel Grove Elementary offers a variety of clubs and activities, including Girls on the Run, Let Me Run, Math Masters, robotics and Battle of the Books.
