About Us
Chapel Grove Elementary School has been a proud part of the Gaston County community for 100 years. Generations of families have walked our halls, and several of our staff members are former students who returned to give back to the school that helped shape them. We are a neighborhood school with a strong sense of tradition, community and academic excellence.
In 2024, Chapel Grove met academic growth in both math and reading. Our students also placed first in the Math Masters competition and were named Grand Champions in the Battle of the Books. We offer during-school support in reading and math to help every student succeed.
Learning at Chapel Grove goes beyond the classroom. Through our Innovation Station program, students explore robotics and coding each week, gaining hands-on experience and building interest in future careers in technology. Students also have opportunities to grow physically through popular clubs like Let Me Run and Girls on the Run.
Our dedicated staff includes many veteran teachers who are committed to making a difference every day. They show up for students, ready to teach, encourage and inspire.
At Chapel Grove Elementary, we are proud of our past and excited about our future. Together, we are helping students build strong foundations for learning and life.
